as mentioned in this post, i got to spend my past weekend doing all the little things i sadly haven’t had the time for in a while. as part of such, i made these delicious rolls as part of a lazy brunch-in-bed sunday morning. its always cathartic to create a meal from start to finish, watching base ingredients come together into something delectable. this particular recipe, from joy the baker, is one i’d been looking forward to trying, and let me just say, the sweet chai/cinnamon aroma that filled this apartment and the satisfaction of making these puppies disappear one indulgent bite at a time was well worth the hours spent making this pan of rolls come together.
in other news, we officially got our first few inches of snow here in boston last night and G has been growling, barking, and attacking the snow each time he goes out, kicking it up and chasing the flurries like they are tiny, taunting creatures. it looks like snow is G’s new favorite toy.

These. look. amazing.
Beautiful photos!
Wow, those look good! I can’t wait make some myself!
